What was the highlight of Ocean Marina Resort Pattaya Jomtien

The hotel was very classy.

Great hotel. We had booked a standard room but this did not have a balcony so we upgraded to the Marina suite which cost significantly more but was worth the extra. The suite was excellent with high quality materials and fittings throughout. Particularly nice was the spacious bathroom which oozed luxury. The included breakfast was also excellent and, although it was buffet style the staff would bring prepared items such as omelettes and coffee to your table.

The tv in the room only seemed to have Thai TV stations and didn’t have apps such as Netflix or Apple TV and it generally difficult to operate.

Gorgeous new hotel. Immaculate and great facilities. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were so lovely and helpful.

Location is a little far from the centre but we actually liked that as it was quiet and less hectic then central

Better than photos - excellent stay!

Excellent breakfast buffet with egg and coffee bar, assortment of Asian and western Sam and cold foods. Beds and towels were plush - place is brand newly renovated part of a residential building. We didn’t have time to play in the splash pool but it had a kid friendly section and extensive play room!

A very pleasant stay in a nicely upgraded hotel.

Recently renovated hotel with new everything done to a high standard. The rooms are above average size with very comfortable beds and the bathroom is clean and new with Grohe fittings. Keen, polite staff who are obviously happy to be working there. Good quality breakfast with a very international range of choices.

The reception area is small and would not cope with a group check in. Access to and from the car park needs a member of staff to open the doors. Roadworks on the main road make access a little difficult but that will pass and there is no noise impact at the hotel.

Very friendly staff the view is spectacularly luxurious and very clean. Quite area

A more expensive option but well worth the expense.

Balcony rooms are lovely with great views. Location is peaceful and relaxing despite the busy marina. Away from the chaos of Pattaya but close enough if you want to go there. Staff are lovely.

Nothing much in walking distance but Bolt and Grab apps are easy to access cheap rides and food delivery.

A perfect place to stay for yachtsmen and sear traveller!

Best location for boat/yacht sailor. The facility, though significantly wore and torn, is adequate for frequent sea traveller and yachtsmen due to its close proximity to ocean marina. Room is relatively bigger than most hotel rooms nearby. Bathroom comes with bathtub and shower. All staff has good hospitality and is very helpful in every matters.

Wifi was not not working the day we stayed. Breakfast is less on variety compared to nearby hotels. Overall facilities are old and outdated!!!

Great property, staff very attentive and close to the un crowded beaches

Breakfast were awesome. Bit out of the way from Pattaya central so you need a vehicle. Some very nice Thai restaurants nearby. Look for the stand alone ones as they do not have mass western tourists at them.

Good location but need to develop and renovate some places and maintainance air conditioner

Location and good environment.

Some equipment in club house is too old ,there is one room which has not good air conditioner. We had to inform for changing a new room.

nice view & beach beside, good for leisure time

Location is in good area, even there is no own beach for leisure, but we can walk through to the beach next to the hotel. Atmosphere surrounding the hotel is very good with plants, trees, boat, yatch (good that no smell of gasoline), we can do jogging or even walking around the hotel. I also like the grass ground area in front of cafeteria (where we have breakfast) that we can lay down on bean bag and take a nap while sight seeing.

we don't really impress with the room, it's quite old fashion. Found the window is dirty with dust & very old. (I am afraid to touch it) Shower is very old appearance, should be changed. The price of room is a bit high comparing with the room.

An old but comfortable hotel

A comfortable hotel but outdated and need improvement, very great service and super friendly staffs, breakfast buffet was not fancy but adequate. Overall we liked it and will come back again.

Bathroom and sport complex is needed to be improved.

I was there for a sailing course so it was the perfect...

I was there for a sailing course so it was the perfect location for that. It’s a good 30 minutes from the centre of Pattaya and not a pleasant journey as the traffic is usually horrendous and the price of taxis in Thailand are disproportionately expensive compared to everything else. Taxis took about 20 minutes to arrive when called by reception staff who were very friendly and helpful. Room was good and a decent size as was the bathroom.

The only criticism is the food. I had one room service meal which was very bland by Thai standards and one meal in the restaurant which was better but overly large. I can only assume the blandness and quantity is due to the hotel trying to appeal to overseas visitors that seem to be the main guests at the hotel. The biggest issue was breakfast. Although there was a nice selection of western and Asian food each day it was very similar and for some reason the staff would leave the service trays for the western food open making the food cold and unpleasant. They didn’t do that for the Asian food bizarrely. I was normally there for breakfast at opening time and even then the hot food would be lukewarm at best. There is another independent restaurant on the marina premises that serves much nicer food and is frequented by most of the boaty people.

Pool was out of action but indoor pool was lovely, gym very old and very hot, needs blinds . Hotel needs updating carpets etc but room was great. Breakfast was ok , fruit needed covering from the fly's.

Quite OK

The photographs misrepresent the property. There are only four floors and although the middle aged concierge and the supervisor herself were polite and helpful, some other staff members were impolite, rude and mostly struggled with English. Breakfast was good but if you want to commute to Pattya city centre or feel hungry late evening and want to go to a resturant, you will be ripped off by taxi rides of 400 Bhts each way. So unless you want to remain where you are for the duration of your stay and only enjoy the beach, do not stay in this property as you will be paying an equivalent amount for taxi rides back and forth.

Great view & Comfort bed

Bed is very comfort. Hold-Cold water is very good (Stable). Great view from my room (great landscape). Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Parking is not linked to hotel and no customer lift. Old towel.
